Just when I had promised myself I wasn’t going to find anymore recipe contest to post about for a little while, I ran across this one,� promoting a new book called “Tantalize” by Cynthia Leitich Smith about Vampires and Werewolves and evidently food?

The plot sounds like a soap opera with murder and love triangles along with a new business venture a restaurant even… go figure� and guess what?� The book .. 20 of them are the prize for the winning original recipes entries that can feed a Vampire or Werewolf.

Now I can see entrails, blood, and guts being the basis for many of the entries that are going to show up in this contest.

Now here is a recipe contest that works for me because it happens to be how I cook many times.� Grab a package of something and spruce it up with what I think sounds good.� Sausage, chicken, some chipolte … you get the picture.� I bet you do the same thing yourself.
